Michał cut his teeth shooting music videos splitting his time between Warsaw and London. His variety of works comes from a multitude of life experiences and travels which allow him to create cinematic and emotionally engaging work. Contemporary, narrative-driven style as well as sensitive cinematography gives him ability to create intimate worlds that are full of honesty with his characters

His debut film is a short documentary 7-My Sierpnia (2020) which tells the story of a people, who were detained during the protest on August 7, 2020. The movie had its international premiere at the WATCH DOCS Film Festival - Human Rights in Film. Film was awarded with the 2nd Prize in the Short Film Competition at Film and Art Festival "Dwa Brzegi" in Kazimierz Dolny, a special distinction at Koszalin Festival of Film Debuts "Youth and Film" and nomination for the Best Polish Film Award at Millennium Docs Against Gravity.

His recent feature documentary Zasada (2022) had premiere at Krakow Film Festival at the end of May 2022. The film tells the story of Sobieslaw Zasada - the European multi-champion rally driver and Polish legend, who at the age of 91 is trying to break the Guinness record as the oldest rallydriver by taking part in the famous Safari Rally in Kenya.

Michał received Special Award for screenplay to "Zasada" on Festival of Polish Sport Films in Zakopane.
